 Cost of rights?
I know it depends on many different factors but I was wondering if anyone had an idea of approximately how much the rights would cost for a non-profit amatuer theater group. I am trying to convince the heads of my theater group that this would be a good summer show for us, seeing as we have the right people to make up the cast and there are a lot of families and older people living in our community who would come see it. But I know the first thing they are going to bring up is the cost of the rights.

For a future budget, you can figure about 20 percent of your potential box office, based on average seat price, times seats in your venue, times number of performances.
