Thank God we're still in rehearsal stage, but.........

We open in 8 days.

Our tower (which is hiding the band) fell over and had to be fixed in a day. (it's now back up and secured again, and better than last time).

Last night, at a rehearsal, most of the band (self-included) didn't really do anything because we had to move in, but the soundboard/graphic equalizer broke, so we're having to switch to the other board, which doesn't pre amp xP.

Opening night was a week ago, which went great, all things considered. However, the Minstrel missed the whole scene when the King explains about larkin to the Jester and the Minstrel. Our Jester did a great job of saving it, using Minstrel's lines too. He came on at the LAST second, only with enough time to say the bit about "We know you can't talk," yadda yadda yadda.

Last night, Dauntless skipped about a page of music in Man to Man Talk, and then the Jester came in about ten or fifteen measures too early. So, our pit orchestra jumped a bit last night. (This, of course is only what I think of right now.)

As a joke, most of the band got a bit offended when the Queen says, "one of MY girls running off with a... Musician!!!" So, we used our bird whistles to make 'frantic, angry, let's-dive-bomb-the-Queen' birdy noises until she yells at us to be quiet and tells the director to get them under control or something along those lines. So fun!
