I've heard so many rumours about Jessie Buckley being the next Nancy in Oliver, but I have no idea if it's true or not, does anybody know?

For those who do not know Jessie Buckley, she was a contestant on Andrew Lloyd webbers show 'Id do Anything' in which he was searching for a woman to play the role of Nancy In Oliver.

I THINK (not totally sure,) but once they have been on i'd do anying, they were not allowed to get the part on a later date, otherwise there wouldn't be much of a point of doing the show.

I don't think that can be right. One of the runners up "Sarah Lark" has already been "Jodie Prenger's" understudy, and I believe (though I could be wrong) that another is either the alternate, or understudy for "Kerry Ellis" who is currently playing the role.

As I said before other contestants have been used as understudys, there was however a contract with the BBC saying that no other contestants could be used as "The Altarnate Nancy". However I think you will find that the contract only lasted until "Jodie Prenger" left. It is true that "Jessie Buckley" is currently understudy to "Kerry Ellis", and has been tipped to take over in August.
