i was just in Oklahoma a few weeks ago (i was aunt eller) what happened is that when they did the Persian goodbye he tilted her back so that they wouldn't even be able to tell if he was kissing her or not...just a suggestion

 That's Theatre! I realize that this post was years ago. And although I am a little curious about the outcome of the much dreaded kiss, I have to say to others who are reading this, if you participate in Theatre, you participate all the way.
Stage kissing? That's theatre!
Plus, if you are good, it's not you kissing, it's your Character...
My "first kiss" was on stage, but it wasn't my first kiss, it was my characters.
Keep it in perspective.
