 ALW and MY FAIR LADY: the Reality Show Several websites are reporting that Andrew Lloyd Webber is planning to cast a star for a new production of My Fair Lady using a TV reality series. The main source seems to be The Sun, which actually only says that Lloyd Webber 'is set to take part in more TV audition shows to find stars for West End musicals... such as My Fair Lady's Eliza Doolittle'. He also says that he thinks that it is time to cast another man in a role next. In spite of that, BroadwayWorld has spun out the story so that it sounds like a done deal for the near future, complete with reasons why it is a bad idea at this point in time. It seems clear to me from the first article that if My Fair Lady is in the works, it probably won't be the next one.
Thoughts?

Seriously. Didn't he say he was done with these shows?
