Post My Review of EF 8th Grade Choir The Music Man
I was fortunate enough to be part of this production as Harold Hill but I wanted people to see my opinion. For starters I was a little dissapointed on the opening train scene. Even though the guys were singing, I still couldn't hear them. Things got better afterwards with Marcellus played by my friend Mike M. and myself were talking. Then I did Ya Got Trouble and flubbed a few words but overall it was alright. Then the house scene with Marian and Mama Paroo was great. Both girls knew how to act. Then the gynasium scene came and only one problem occured, our Eulalie, played by my best friend Ally, kinda missed the little bang snappers used for the bomb but she still played it cool. Then 76 Trombones went well until the end when I was the only one singing when everyone else should have.
The rest of Act1 went well. Then ACt2 began with a set piece falling #-o .
All went smoothly with great laugh's. Then Mama Paroo said a line that I had to laugh at while onstage. We all started laughing and it was a great moment. The end was simple. I proposed to Marian and then blackout. Did anyone see this production. If you did, tell me your review, or favorite songs, actors etc. Thanks

In what version of the script does Harold propose to Marian onstage? :?

Our director added it because he and other people felt the ending was too boring.

The ending might be open to interpretation regarding what will happen afterward, but I certainly don't find it boring.

What I'm curious about is how you did it without changing the script or anything like that.
