 Revival US Tour
I managed to score tickets to the Miss Saigon Revival US Tour while it was in LA. I have to say that the performance was the best I have seen of this show. I had previously seen the original show on Broadway (not with the original cast), and the first US touring cast.
The cast in this tour is excellent. All the actors were excellent and gave it their all. Red Concepción makes a great engineer and Emily Bautista was superb as Kim. Production values and staging were top notch.
The show is much edgier than the original version. The scenes in "Dreamland" and in Bangkok were played with much more lured choreography. I'm not sure it was needed. Ellen's part has been re-done. I liked it better. The final scene has been changed and is now without the reprise of "I'd give my life for you". I liked the original better.
All in all I enjoyed the show and would recommend it to fans of "Miss Saigon"
