 Unprofessional Dutch Simba
Danny Yanga was playing adult Simba in the Dutch production of TLK. When I went to see it there was a mentally disabled person in the audience. At one point somewhere around 'Can you feel the love tonight' this person yelled something (like less able persons sometimes do) and Danny sent him a look of death and filled with annoyment. I was actually shocked by this! I mean, first of all, he should be professional enough to not even notice and keep his focus on the stage. And second of all, he should have realized that there can actually be disabled people or children in the audience who at times get over exited.
I was really dissapointed.

Maybe he didn't realise this person was disabled?
I've never really had many interuptions, so I wouldn't know how to handle this.

God I hope he didn't realise it! Otherwise he'd be a TOTAL jerk.

Where was this person sitting? I'm betting that if it wasn't in the first few rows, he would have had no way of seeing this person.

Since he was in a wheelchair, I'm guessing the place where there are special places for wheelchairs. It was in the stalls.
Look, it isn't about if he knew that there was a disabled person, it is bad enough that he actually was distracted by someone in the audience AND TOTALLY SHOWED HIS ANNOYMENT! He literally shot a look of DEATH in that area. How professional. There is no excuse for that. He is a pro. Or he shoudl be.

Okay.. I'm in High School/ Community theatre, and I know better than that.
Once during our schools production of How To Make An American Teenage Quilt, there was a scene in which a student was supposed to be threatening a bully with a gun. Since we're a public school, we can't portray a gun, so he had to keep his hand in his pocket. What happens is when he tries to shoot the bully, he actually shoots and kills his best friend... sad scene... crying... screaming... very emotional.
Well these two ------- in the front row decided to take it upon themselves to laugh hysterically, and point, and scream obscenities to the actor about his sexuality. If he didn't break character for that.. a pro actor should have no issue with an interuption, handicapped or otherwise.

 Bad Etiquette
People like that should be escorted out of the theatre immediately.
