I always preferred the film/Ted Neeley version but was impressed with Steve Balsamo/1996 London Cast versions addition of the held falsetto note during the instrumental break. But recently I have bought the Ronnacher live version with Drew Sarich and think this is my new favourite. Any thoughts....?

I've never liked Ted Neeley's rendition. I'm very partial to Jeff Fenholt on the original Broadway recording, though.

I'm a huge fan of the 1970 film, but the 1996 London version was superb as well.
