 Judas
If I remember correcly, Jesus and Judas have the same range which goes up to a High E. My question is does Judas use the same rock scream that Jesus does? Because a High E seems ridiculously high for someone without a falsetto.

 Re: Judas
I don't know if Judas has a high E, but he does have a high D in "Heaven on Their Minds" in that part where he's doing a vocalice thing. But no, Judas doesn't have any rock scream things going.

 Re: Judas
...where did you get that info? Pulled from a past audition notice... | | | | Quote: Jesus of Nazareth - Male, 25-35. Rock Tenor (low Bb to high E, with pop falsetto to high G). The quietly powerful leader of the poor and downtrodden, he is intense, compassionate, driven, and sincere. Must have a strong, charismatic presence.
Judas Iscariot - Male, 20-40. Rock Tenor (low D to high C). Intense and conflicted, he loves Jesus deeply but ultimately betrays him. He is idealistic, highly intelligent, and increasingly disillusioned. | | | | |

 Re: Judas
I see. I've often wondered why only Jesus has the rock scream thing. It is a rock opera after all so you'd expect more of it.

 Re: Judas
Different kinds of rock voices. Jesus has the sort of Freddy Mercury or high heavy metal thing going, Judas has more of a hard rock thing going.

 Re: Judas
on the Judas note is it just me that prefers Zublin Varla to Carl Anderson? I don't meant to ruffle feathers by saying that I just feel Zublin's performance sells it to me more so than Carl Anderson.

 Re: Judas
You're welcome to your opinion. I think Carl is ten times, fifty times the performer.
