I don't know about that. Most people I've heard agree with what I think.

Great, music, TERRIBLE book....

the music is generic pop crap and the lyrics are the worst Bricusse has ever written.

Agreed on the lyrics... but the music improved greatly from the 1990 demo to the Complete Works, then lost some great touches by the time it reached Broadway. But I generally hate pop music, and feel that the score, when done with full orchestra, is actually quite moving in some places.

You know you're obsessed when you finish writing a fan project... then immediately go back to writing a parody of it. For example:

POOLE: Excuse me, sir. There appears to be a hooker here to see you. But since you just turned away your fiancé-

JEKYLL: Show her in. (seeing her) Oh, it’s you.

LUCY: Hey, I’ve got this nasty unknown wound on my shoulder, and since you’re a doctor and all, could you treat it?

JEKYLL: Sure. Makes sense.

LUCY: Some guy named Hyde did it.

JEKYLL: Is he about my height and build?

LUCY: Yeah.

JEKYLL: Does he have long hair?

LUCY: Yeah.

JEKYLL: Does he do this a lot? (moves behind her)

LUCY: Yeah.

JEKYLL: Does he look like me?

LUCY: Yeah. Can you do anything about the thing on my back?

JEKYLL: I think I know what your condition is. It’s called “Lois Lane Syndrome.”

LUCY: Is it serious?

JEKYLL: Deadly.

Not all the music. This is the moment, someone like you....basically all the generic pop songs are generic pop crap. Alive, Confrontation, Transformation, His work and nothing more, and Board of Governors are all chilling and/or glorious.

LOL Alexia, I love your parody!!

You know you're obsessed with J&H when... you take a look at a syringe filled with red ink (that you are using to fill up the color ink in your printer) and you begin humming the tune "like a warning light glimmering in red like crimson bloodshed..." etc.

When you drive your neighbours crazy by constantly playing the soundtrack over and over again

When you pick a nickname simply because of the fact it has one of the lead character's names in it :P

When you actually want to take Lucy's place in a particular scene (and no, I'm not sharing exactly which one! )

When you automatically think of the songs when you hear/read the words "facade", "confrontation", "possessed" and "good and evil."

When you laugh anytime someone mentions David Hasselhoff.

When you are suddenly attracted to fur coats.....
