She seems to have a strong handle on the role. she looks good. has some nice emotional realisim for a change. but god damn someone needs to tell her to hit her consanants. diction Patti,diction!

This is awsome I love it! She's the greatest.
I was going to get to see her this summer but that isn't going to happen now.

she has a perfect handle on the role of Mama! much better than many i've seen. and also, she is probably the best singer to play mama

Saw this long ago of course...I love her in this role...great voice for the part...she is acting again! YAY! But I agree with Salome...she needs to get her words out better...something that really frustrates me because I have excellent singing dictation...first compliment my singing teacher said to me was, "You have amazing dictation...I'm not having any trouble at all understanding what you're saying...which is a problem for quite a few people."

Thank you to whoever ressurected this post. Patti is so great. I do agree that her diction is off. It kind of ruins "A Little Priest" on the 2006 revival of Sweeney Todd recording.
