Guys and Dolls: A Classic Musical?
Why, in your opinion, is Guys and Dolls considered a "classic" musical? Do you think it deserves "classic" status?

Re: Guys and Dolls: A Classic Musical?
I thorougly believe that Guys and Dolls is a classic musical. Where it gets more tricky is that most scholars/critics rank it in their top 10, and many claim that is the perfect musical. Your thoughts?

If by "classic" you mean that everyone knows what it is, and loves it? Then yes.
I don't think I've met a single person who doesn't like it.
I loved Guys and Dolls when I did it two years ago
