Post Dancing Audition Help!
Uh hey guys!

My school is putting on Guys and Dolls Jr. for our school musical.

I want to be Adelaide for the play and I just want to know what to expect when dance auditions come around. And I want to be prepared.

We're probably not going to go all out, but I want to make sure I am well prepared.

Thanks!

It's hard to say what to expect; there's no "standard" choreography for the show. Bushel and a Peck is usually cutesy/silly/lively, and Take Back Your Mink is usually more sedate (at the beginning, like a tantalizing burlesque) and jazzy into the end.
The first time I was in the show, it was very dance heavy, but that was a community theater- we did a tap number for Bushel, and a jazz number for Mink. The second time I was in it (as Adelaide) we didn't really have "dancer" people so it was more dance-y choreography.
Just smile and be energetic in whatever you do. Adelaide is the star but doesn't necessarily have to be the BEST dancer, just have the most personality. imo. Smile smile smile, character, character, character... :)

THANK YOU! \:D/ \:D/

I am a huge klutz and all, so that's what I was worried about, having to deal with the fact that I may fall down during the audition.

Thanks for your help :D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
