 Adelaide or Sarah?
Which do You Rather?
Personally... I would chose Sarah. But Adelaide would be a blast to play!
What do you think?

Sarah is a better singing role.
Adelaide is a better comedic role.

If I were a Bell is my favorite song, but Adelaide gets an accent, the laughs, more songs, the love of the audience, and she's deeper than sarah, she really is. She's waited FOURTEEN years for this guy-just think about that. I was only 14 one of the times I played her-I couldn't even process that...she's got so many internal feelings. Adelaide! Adelaide! Adelaide! Hahaha

Sarah. There's so much you can do with the character.

You have to be a good actor, singer, and dancer to pull off Adelaide. Plus you need comic timing as well as dedication to the accent.
Sarah requires an actor and a soprano.
You decide.

Good point.
I still think I rather Sarah...becuase you can make the character your own.....you kinda of have no choice with Adelaide.

I agree. I think Sarah has a lot more growth than Adelaide.

Adelaide does have more of a story behind her than sarah does...but for Adelaide you have to have amazing comic timing and accent use, plus you also have to be a triple threat
Sarah has more personal growth as a person...and you have to have the acting down well, espically in the Havana scene, you need to know how to do the whole drunk thing, without taking it over the top...and the clear soprano voice.
...but i dont know...i would love to be either of them...i love the new york accent! and i have a certain compassion for both characters
