 Audition Help! Hi! so I'm new to this forum and I'm in need of a little assistance(:
I am auditioning for "Annie", a youth production (Ages 13-19) and I was curious as to what I should audition for/sing
My past: Queen of Hearts-Alice in Wonderland, Marian Paroo- The Music Man, Laurie Williams- Oklahoma!, Shulie- School House Rock Live!, Anna Leonowens- The King and I
If I audition for Miss Hannigan I was thinking of singing "No Good Deed" from Wicked
if Grace or Annie.... i don't know.
PLEASE HELP!

Re: Audition Help! sorry this may be too late, but I would pick something more traditional....Winnifred from Once Upon A Mattress "Happily Ever After" is a good choice for Hannigan and something Sweet and bright for Grace, maybe a disney piece.
other shows to look at are The Pajama Game, Bye Bye Birdie, and Rogers and Hammerstein shows, especially other kids shows like The Sound of Music or Cinderella.
