So, my school is finally doing the show I grew up with. And auditions are coming up pretty soon, but as far as what to sing, or who to try and audition for...I'm drawing some blanks...Here's some info:

well, if you're confident enough, you sound like you could audition for hodel. you didnt say how old you were. you are a bit short, but you could also be try golde. i think those are the best female parts anyway.
like i normally say, its just what i think. if there is a part you really want go for it. no one on the forum has seen you sing or act, so i think that you are the person who knows best to be honest.

any ideas in the way of an audition song? i need the typical 16 bars. normally i have some sort of idea in the back og my head, but im drawing up blanks for this one.

Maybe Hodel's chorus of "Matchmaker", or "Far From The Home I Love". Julia Migenes-Johnson's OBC recording of that song is probably considered THE definitive version.
