 Nit-Picky Question
Ok so in "Do you Love Me", Tevye and Golde talk about meeting on their wedding day 25 years ago.
But in "Teyve's Dream" he speaks about his Grandmother Tzeitle who's been dead for 30 years.
Golde says "How does she look", Implying that Golde has seen her before.
Nit-Picky, I know, but How does this all work?

Grandmother Tzeitle is her grandmother.
"In the middle of the dream, in walks your Grandmother Tzeital, may she rest in peace."
Problem solved.

Then how does he know that it's her?

don't you know things in dreams, that you don't know in real life? you can just tell in dreams. Plus he is faking it.

We're also forgetting that they lived in a very small, close-knit community with arranged marriages. Everybody knew everybody, and your marriage partner was generally picked for you long before you were of marriagable age.

Tevye knew that he'd have an easier time swaying Golde into going along with Tzeitel marrying Motel if he said one of Golde's dead relatives came to him in a dream telling him not to let Tzeitel marry Lazar Wolfe, but Motel instead. When the song is taken out of context I can see how it might be confusing.
