 Musical thetare frivolous?
Hey , I´m studying thetre college in my city , but here everyone (teachers and students) think that muscial thetre is frivolous because it needs a big production and i figth them everytime they say a word about it but i´m tired of this and something is making me beggein t o feel that´s true What do you think about it?
And then i´ve got one more quistion: Why is for an audition forbbiden any andrew lloyd webber´s musical is it precisly because it´s overdone or is it because they think is so simple?????

firstly....LOVE THE EMMY ROSSUM AVATAR....HYSTERICAL!!!
and also...i think singing andrew lloyd webber is forbidden because since it's so popular (commerically and theatricly), it tends to get overdone. it's hard to stand out at an audition when the director has heard "memory" 5000 times, and probably better than you (any auditioner) can sing it.
