Okay, the review will be written later, but I've just gotten home from Bergen, and Company at DNS is the best musical production I have ever seen!
Siren Jørgensen was absolutely stunning as Amy! She did a brilliant performance of "Getting Married Today", and as Katti (Tonje Bakken) sang the last Soprano verse on her balcony Siren actually ran over to the balcony and started to scream and slam into the balcony! It was spectacular! And the choreography in "Side By Side / What Would We Do Without You?" was extraordinary! It was very simple, since many of the actors are not dancers, yet splendid! The only disappointment was Wenche Kvamme who played Joanne, which really surprised me since she usually does a very good job, but in Company she was the weakest link without doubt, and almost all of her comedy lines were to mean to laugh at, and her "Ladies Who Lunch" was not close to good enough.
I will write more about the production later!
