So, given that Robert is a major role and that I've seen some bickering on Youtube arguing about who is/was a better Bobby in the show, I thought it might merit discussion.

So the most famous Bobbies are Dean Jones (the original), Larry Kurt (the replacement), Adrian Lester, Raul Esparza, and Neil Patrick Harris.

The only ones I can really judge are Raul and Neil. Didn't really like NPH that much. I like him in a lot of other things, but something I felt there was a little something lacking with his Bobby. Maybe I just found his vocals underwhelming. I think I liked Raul better - most of the performers in the concert were better than the ones in the revival, but I think Raul was an overall better Bobby.
