 Cinderella the role
My school is putting on "Cinderella" I have never seen it live, only the movie and read it. I know I have the "sweet innocent look" down but I still need help. What should I sing, what scene should I audition with, etc. I have a very powerful and ranging voice. I have been taking voice lessons since I was eight and acting since I was five. (1st role: Munchkin in WOZ!) So I think I'm ready for it. But I still need advice. Gosh, where's a fairy-god-mother when u need her?

The young lady who I cast as Cinderella in our production sang "Waiting For My Dearie" from Brigadoon, which I thought was a great choice....

i know that this topic is kinda old and it happened b4 summer but i will say that reading the poll at the top who ever voted for a wicked song was completely wrong singing a song from wicked during an audition is utter suicide it tells who ever is casting the show ur auditioning for that ur knowledge of musical theatre is limited to only extremely popular shows and that never looks good at all. it's like singing RENT, Phantom or Les Miz!

"It Might As Well Be Spring" might be a good idea. =)

I sang "Goodnight, My Someone" from The Music Man for my Cinderella audition. Probably not the best choice, but I ended up landing the role anyway!
