 Loneliness of Evening
Has anyone used "Loneliness of Evening" in a production? Is it good?

Yeah, you can request to add it to your production. I think it might be a prince song?

 "Loneliness of Evening"
It is a song for the Prince, cut from South Pacific. It's a nice enough song but, like "Boys and Girls Like You and Me", doesn't really add anything essential to the production. We already understand that the Prince wants to find a true love and that he isn't interested in the "candidates" at the ball.
Then again, Cinderella isn't the best of the Rodgers and Hammerstein shows with regard to how the elements of the show hang together to create a unified whole. It's pretty much a jambalaya of the two earlier television versions with bit of this-and-that thrown in for fun.
Later days
