Hunyak's story in Cell Block Tango?
In the song Cell Block Tango, Hunyak says her story in hungarian. I tried to translate it to english on the internet but it came out all nonsense! Does anyone know what she is really saying? Here are the lyrics:
[HUNYAK (Spoken in Hungarian)]
Mit kersek, en itt? Azt mondjok, hogy a hires lakem lefogta a ferjemet en meg
lecsaptam a fejet. De nem igaz, en artatlan
vagyok. Nem tudom mert mondja
Uncle Sam hogy en tettem. probaltam
a rendorsegen megmayarazni de nem ertettek meg...
**its somthing about Uncle Sam cuz she says that when they each say somthing about their story toward the end:
[HUNYAK (Spoken)]
Miert csukott Uncle Same bortonbe.
If anyone knows you'd be answering a million-dollar question here,

I know she's saying something about how the police said she killed her husband, but she didn't really. that's the basic gist of it.

I think it's supposed to be that she's referring to Uncle Sam as a person who represents America. Does that make sense? As in, because she's foreign she might misunderstand the concept of Uncle Sam and think that it's a real person, but she knows that it represents America so she says "Uncle Sam" to identify the police, the gov't, etc.

 Hunyak
I think it means
"What am I doing here? They say my famous tenant held down my husband and I chopped his head off. But it's not true. I am innocent. I don't know why Uncle Sam says I did it. I tried to explain at the police station but they didn't understand."

Re: Hunyak's story in Cell Block Tango?
The reported lyrics to Hunyak's part of CELLBLOCK TANGO seem to have been, perhaps purposefully, changed. When you listen to her speaking, you can clearly hear her say "Novy Yorku, New Amsterdam" but that is NOT shown in any of the lyrics on the web that I can find. The published lyrics all show the words "Uncle Sam". However, I don't recall her EVER saying that during the number and I listen to it everyday.
It seems that all the purported lyrics are identical and were probably copied from the same source.
Anyway, the lyrics given for Hunyak seem to have been modified for publication.
