If you don't know already, former American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi is playing Roxie up until October 30th.

I saw this yesterday, and I can talk about the entire production at another time, but I'll talk about DioGuardi here. Her singing to me, was pretty good at some point, at other times, not memorable. I also don't like the choice that she made of kind of doing a "sing-speaking" as I call it during Roxie. She had her good vocal moments, but had her bad ones as well. The acting...not really great. She seemed to have this choice to really accentuate the inner child and got outright giddy during Roxie as well, and yet it wasn't even necessarily consistent either. I'm convinced it'd be better than what Christie Brinkely was (I'd have to see it to know), but not spectacular.

I saw her medley on the View, was it? Dreadful. Very disappointing
