Just curious about the tuba/bass. Is it specifically written for either electric bass or acoustic? Or is either acceptable? Thanks.

I'm going to answer my own question now that I've seen the book. The book is for BOTH; mostly tuba with about 20-30% written for bass. Turns out I'm playing banjo anyway so it didn't matter, but I thought I'd post the answer in case someone else is interested.
