The Broadway Bears will be holding it's Grand Finale auction this coming March. The woman who owns the Tugger and Bombalurina Bears told me that this was going to be the last one due to the fact that the company that makes the original plain bears is going out of business. They are using up the last of their stock for the characters. No word yet on if a CATS bear will make a last appearance. I certainly hope so as I am going to try to bid on the last bear. I hope they make Munkustrap or Cassandra! A Munkustrap would be an awesome last edition for the closing of the yearly sale. I told the woman in Oregon City that I was going to try to win a CATS bear even if I was going to bid up against her. She owns the largest collection of Broadway Bears in the nation. LOL! So I hope one goes up for sale! Grizabella was made the first year in 1998, but I cannot find a photo of her on the net. Wish I could. So far almost each year they've done a CATS bear.
