I figured we need a Cats Youtube thread, since I'm always coming across interesting clips on the 'tube (plus, Les Mis has one). Please share your favorite clips with fellow fans. I'll begin.
Came across this today. The *entire* dress rehearsal for the 1998 Japanese production (the choreography is very different and they do the original Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer!):

I thought about making a new thread on this, but I don't want to further clutter this board.
This is a FANTASTIC short documentary on the Moscow 1985 production. The costumes and makeup are jaw-dropping! Really recommend watching.

It's definitely the Vienna cast I think they also went to East Berlin. Is 1985 the right year? Because it looks like Pia Douwes as Jellylorum, but I didn't think she started until 87.

The title says it's 1985, but that could inaccurate. It looks like it was Russia's first exposure to the show. Anyway, why are they speaking English and Russian (Gus)?? Did the Vienna cast perform in German or English? And why would Gillian Lynne be there?

Because half (or more) of the cast were not native German speakers anyway, and English is the original language of the show.
Gillian Lynne was there because she personally oversaw the Vienna Production, and regularly deals with productions all over the world to this day.

Do you think I should post the talent show I was in Hight School? I don't have contact with my friend that was in the talent show with me. We did Macavity. Of course we did't have the DVD at the time since it was 1989.
