Pretty much - they make nice colored lightweight casts out of fiberglass now. My spouse had to wear one for a few weeks, so I found out about them while sitting in the waiting room. A "boot cast" like you pictured would be okay. I think Dr. B actually put a plaster cast on her, but no problems here. Seeing that Faber put in a "state-of-the-art" Infirmary in the Mansion, something very much like that would be what would actually have been done...

I do not wish to rain on anyone's parade - especially artists because I am envious of their ability... However, can artists PLEASE keep the SIZE of their artwork down a little OR use a thumbnail with a link to the larger picture.

If you can, you use a server that can be accessed from here by using the URL tags. Here is how it is used:

[ url = http: // LARGE PIC URL ] [ img ] http: // SMALL PIC URL [ /img ] [ /url ]

Remove spaces to get the actual command. You can get the same instructions by placing your point on the buttons above the message body.

USE SMALL SIZES and/or ALBUMS if you have more than three or more pics. Reason for this is to tone down the amount of loading time...

I already posted a new thread, as I'm sure everyone can see, but I really would like to stress that I am in desperate need of fan art, fan fiction, and new, fresh links for my website.

And, no, this isn't just a "come with your own!" post. I also want to advertise that my website (Medianoche's World of Jellicles) has had a major facelift and is still being heavily worked on, but there are still a handful of pretty nibblies to enjoy.

In fact, check out my revised and edited version of Mystery Cat (which was written in 2002) that I am posting onto fanfiction.net (my name over there is The Lady Elizabeth) . It's a lot more in-depth (at least, the first three, newly revised chapters are) and is closer to my level of writing now than when I was 16 years old. I've also posted a lot of non-CATS fiction, including a handful of Harry Potter drabbles, and a full-length Baby-Sitter's Club novel. Feel free to check everything out.

Oh, and because my paintbrush cannot keep up with my pen, anyone who would like to do illustrations for any of the stories (CATS or non), please, PLEASE let me know. I would be honored and I would love to work out a way to repay your generousity.
