Hey one of the names is Jim Walton. Can anyone guess what shows hes been in?

He was a Billy Lawlor replacement in 42nd Street , the original Franklin Shepard in Merrily We Roll Along, Anthony in Sweeney Todd in 1989/1990, a standby for Harold Hill in the revival of The Music Man and Harry the Horse in the recent Guys and Dolls revival.

THAT WOULD BE AMAZING!

I agree...he's terrific, and that would be an epic celebrity casting.

As much as I like Carrell I'm glad he didn't get the part. I hate celbrity casting for the most part. The guy from Spectacular? Ugh...it'll be Zack Effron as Link all over again...Anywho I'm uber excited about Rosie though. I really think she'll be wonderful.

If it's a stage show it's best that it has stage performers, Stamos might be a good stage actor, if you close your eyes. And Steve could be in the new Birdie movie that the director from Dreamgirls is doing or something. I may be wrong.

Do they think the show will not survive without them or was it just a limited engagement...?

If you read the article, you'll see that it was originally a limited engagement. The Roundabout had some hopes, however, of keeping the show running till spring, but sales post the departure of the "stars" has been slow so it'll be two weeks longer, with the cast intact, and that's it.

I am sure I read somewhere that the show had been extended until April. Was this wrong? I am certain it said April. Shame though, I've heard it did not get great reviews...

April is in the spring in the States! But this was just a pipe dream; the show was originally scheduled to end on 10th January.

I too thought they said April, but as David said, once the ticket sales started looking grim for the shows after the stars' final date, they decided to go with a two week extension.
