Actually, I'm posting this for a friend...she got the part of Fiona in a local theater group...and it's kind of a tricky part, so she's looking for advice, basically on everything: what should Fiona be like? Her accent? Her songs? Her personality? She's especially having difficulty getting the whole "feet on the ground, head in the sky" thing, as her director put it. Advice?

Exactly. She should be getting this kind of acting direction and assistance from the director of her production, not left to go it on her own and interpret whatever she wants. That's what helps to make bad productions, becuase everyone is on a different page.
