I looked for a list, but this was all I could come up with:

Also announced, MARY POPPINS will commence a North American tour scheduled to premiere at Chicago's Cadillac Palace Theatre on March 25, 2009. The entire original creative team will reunite to bring this magical story of the world's most famous nanny to audiences across North America.

The list that I gave was not a tour schedule. it was a list of theatres that will have "Mary Poppins" by the end of 2009.

The US tour starts in Chicago, Illinois at the Cadillac Palace Theatre on March 25, 2009. It will probably stay there for 2-3 months. It will then move on to Los Angeles, where it will probably stay for 2 months. Then it will come to the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto and that is all that is known now.

The UK tour starts in Plymouth, England at the Theatre Royal Plymouth on June 4, 2008 and will stay there until July 5, 2008. Then it will move to Birmingham, England at the Birmingham Hippodrome from July 10, 2008 to September 27, 2008. It will play in Edinburgh, Scotland at the Edinburgh Playhouse from October 1, 2008 to December 6, 2008. It will be in Manchester, England at the Manchester Palace Theatre from December 10, 2008 to March 7, 2009. It will end in Cardiff, Wales at the Wales Millennium Center from March 11, 2009 to April 18, 2009.

Separate international productions will open in Stockholm, Sweden (October, 2008), Copenhagen, Denmark (January, 2009), Helsinki, Finland (January, 2009), Budapest, Hungary (September, 2009), Sydney, Australia at the Capitol Theatre (October, 2009), Shanghai, China (November, 2009), Johannesburg, South Africa (November, 2009), Amsterdam, the Netherlands (December, 2009), and Buenos Aires, Argentina (December, 2009)

By the end of 2009, Mary Poppins will be in every continent besides Antarctica and will have been translated into Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Hungarian, Mandarin, Dutch, and Spanish.

Do you think they'll have to rechoreograph Supercal for each different language? While some of the letters are shaped, others are implied by pronunciation which - of course - will be different as the alphabet is pronounced differently to English in other languages. F'rinstance, C and A have moves entirely based on 'see' and 'eh', so what will the Germans do when it's 'say' and 'ah'?

The only problem is that "Mary Poppins" isn't coming to Germany. It's coming to Holland, and that was the video that wickedboy showed. I imagine that for the English language productions (US, UK, Canada, Australia, South Africa), they'll keep it the same, and for the non-English ones (Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Hungary, Argentina, Brazil, Holland), they'll spell it in that language. Obviously, the word supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, will stay the same as it can't be translated. In China, they'll probably spell it in English but translate the rest of the lyrics into Mandarin.

Just wanted everyone to know that "Mary Poppins" has booked a stop at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis, Missouri from August 13-31 2009. Also, a stop at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles, California starting in November, 2009.

Toronto might not be a tour stop, they might get their own production.

7 months until Stockholm, and no director, cast, theatre, or translator announced

Either that or I'm not finding the right websites.

Do any of our Swedish members have any info on it?

Still 10 months 'til Copenhagen and Helsinki.

Too bad it's not going to be in Amsterdam while I'm there this August.

Can't wait 'til the Australian version. (CAPITOL THEATRE OCTOBER 2009)

Hungary will be interesting (First major Disney show in Eastern Europe, Aida and Beauty and the Beast were not produced professionally in Hungary)

13th - 31st? That's a bit short isn't it.

For the big musicals in the UK they can stay at one theatre for up to three months.

Mary Poppins is cool. I loved Julie Andrews in the movie and I'm sure It's much better live! I want to see it badly.
